No forum, roleplay or not, can exist without rules. By joining Divine Faith, you are also saying you will follow these rules. Rule-breakers will be warned or banned. Please make sure to read through these rules carefully. Once you do so, you will easily find the password to the creation board.
01. be respectful; we want everyone to enjoy their experience at Divine Faith, and that can only happen if everyone is kind and respectful. do not fight or talk about things that may start one.
02. the staff have final word; do not argue with staff. they are in charge of DF, so therefore they make all the choices. whatever they say is final.
03. no chatspeak; it looks dumb and is often hard to read. only simple ones like 'gtg', 'brb', and 'k' are allowed in the chatbox. we don't want these flooding our boards.
04. no double posting or spamming; never post two times in a row, unless you're supposed to, which is rare. also, we do not tolerate spamming. spamming isn't only links and words that don't make sense; it's also interrupting a thread and saying something completely off-topic.
05. medium swearing & violence; we are a PG-13 roleplay, so mild swearing and violence is allowed. however, keep in mind that warrior cats have their own swears; don't use human swear words in roleplay.
06. no advertising; the only place you may advertise is the advertisement board and the area in your profile where it says 'website name' and such. no links to other websites around allowed in signatures or personal text.
07. image size limites; we have image limits in place so the board is not stretched. the maximum a signature can be is 600x500. avatars are a bit different; they should be approximately 100x200 or no avatar. as long as the width isn't more than 150 and the height is no more than 200, it's allowed. as for images in posts, we don't have a maximum height [just don't post huge images], but the width limit is 600px.
08. one character per account; this is so our member groups work, and also to keep everything clean. your account name should be the character's name. only staff may have OOC accounts.
09. five character limit; we have a five character limit here--allowing you to have perhaps one cat per clan. however, if you want more, they can be purchased at the market. make sure not to have more characters than you can handle, and to make a log.
10. no strange names; divine faith is a somewhat realistic role play, so no strange names. nothing with twoleg objects or otherworldly things, such as bulletfoot or phantomfur.
11. no queens or kits; you may not sign up as a queen or a kit. the only way to roleplay either is if your she-cat warrior gets impregnated, has kits [you can roleplay one], or you adopt a kit.
12. 200 word minimum; this is about two well-written paragraphs. 200 words is something someone can easily reply to. there is a word counter available in the tabbed table above...make sure to only copy the words, not any extra formatting you may have. also, we understand there are days where "muse" is low, so sometimes a bit under 200 words is allowed.
13. no powerplaying or godmodding; neither is allowed, for it makes a roleplay highly unfair. powerplaying is playing another person's character, perhaps allowing yours to hurt them in a battle. limited PP is allowed with the other character's owner's consent. godmodding is when a character is invincible.
14. two high position limit; you are allowed to have more than one high position, but please wait a bit for other members to try and fill them out. you may have one leadership role and one medicine cat role. the ranks may not be in the same clan. also, you may not have a deputy and a leader, nor may you have a med. cat and a med. cat apprentice at the same time.
15. do not excessively break IC rules; IC rules, aka the warrior code, is there for a reason--for cats to follow it. any cats who continuously break the code will most likely end up being banished from the Clans.
16. no perfect characters; characters who are beautiful/handsome and overall 'awesome' and 'perfect' are not allowed. we want original characters here. perfect characters are boring anyways x]
17. biographies must be accepted before roleplaying; you may not begin roleplaying until a staff member has accepted your biography and moved it to the acception board.
18. no liquid [fluid] time; this is when a character is in more than one place--it is not allowed at DF. however, it will sometimes be allowed during gatherings and special events that state it is alright.
19. be active!; make sure to post with each of your accounts about once a week, so you aren't in danger of being deleted. also, take part in activity checks when we have them!
